Chloe's Dance Part 2

This is a picture of Chloe's dance class.

Below is Chloe's dance (just the last half). The stupid camera was not working for the first half and I had to restart it to get the video. I was angry. At least you can see the ending. It is a good dance and Chloe was awesome during it.

What has Chloe Been Up To?

Chloe has been a busy little tyke as well. She has been many places and seen many things. Chloe got to go to Girls camp for the first time this year. You can see some pictures of her getting her hair done before camp. She had a really good time out in the mountains with the girls and the bears.

Chloe got home from girls camp and left (on the same day) for Sacramento. She was promised that good grades would get her to Sacramento for a summer vacation, but we did not know the dates for girls camp. Chloe got to take a plane ride all be herself. Her grandma picked her up at the airport (and got Kevin Johnson's autograph). Chloe then got to spend the weekend with her cousins having a good time. She drove home with Jordan and my parents.

Chloe went to St. George with me and Jordan, but she did not have to come home on Sunday afternoon like Jordan and I did. She stayed in St. George for an entire week. She played with Addison and Izzie and had a good time with her cousins playing and swimming. It was quite an exciting week.

Now that Chloe is home she is booking babysitting jobs like crazy and hopes to make a bunch of money this summer.

The pictures below show Chloe getting ready to leave for girls camp. The top picture is her after Robin braided her hair. The second picture is Robin actually braiding her hair (with Squishy sitting by her). The last picture is from Chloe's dance recital this year (she danced to Love Is A Battlefield). She did a great job at her dance.

There is still a lot of time in Chloe's summer as well, I am sure she will fill it with all kinds of amazing and fun activities.

Dance Cat

I think I posted on this a couple months ago, but Chloe's dance class has a cat that hangs around. This cat loves people and attention. It tries all night to get into the dance studio and whenever it is successful it gets kicked back out to the street.

Last night at dance, I got kicked out while the girls tries on their costumes for their dance performace (next Thurs and Fri). While I was outside the dance cat came up to me and rubbed against my legs and meowed at me. Here are the pictures of the dance cat:

On the way out of dance the cat followed Chloe, Diana and I out to the car. Chloe named it "Poof" because it has a poofy tail. Then Chloe had to personally escort Poof across the street. It has never taken so long to get to the car and head home after dance.

Chloe's dance recital

Chloe had another year-end dance recital on Friday. It was good. Chloe is getting really good at the dance thing and I really enjoy watching her dance. She really likes it which makes it better for me. Here are some pictures from the dance. All Chloe's grandparents where there and Chloe was happy about that as well.

Saturday, May 3 (mid-morning)

I get home from WalMart and I am already tired. It was a long morning and a late night, so I was already getting exhausted. It was time to take Chloe to dance tryouts. Chloe was trying out for Jazz Attitude. She is very excited to make the team and I hope it happens for her. So we go to the dance studio and we are sent with the younger girls to the backyard to learn the steps for the routine they are trying out for. Now me being the only Dad there I sat on some steps in the back of the house and listened to my iPod and played the GameBoy DS. It was fun. Diana told me this would take hours so I was prepared with my toys. But to my surprise Chloe was called in after about a little more than a half-hour. She did not want me to go in to watch the actual tryout so I just waited in the car. She came out 10 minutes later and we were done. I was happy. I did not want to spend two hours of my day (too much to do) waiting for Chloe to dance. Chloe, I am hoping you make it! It will be great! We are supposed to be finding out in a couple days. I will keep you posted.

Chloe at Dance

So, here I sit at Chloe's dance for the week. The first week of every month is parent watch day, and well, today is the first dance practice of the month. Chloe is good at dance and is in the class age one year ahead of hers. She will be able to try out for Jazz Attitude this year, which is the advanced class. Hopefully she makes it. She seems truly happy while she dances which is important. If she doesn't have fun there is no reason to take the time or go to the expense. The warmup music is currently that song from the MacBook Air ad. Do people really like this song or could Steve Jobs sneeze for 30 seconds and have a top 10 download on itunes?
